The Society of The Ark and The Dove was founded in 1910 to perpetuate the memory of the first families of Maryland and to provide opportunities for fellowship for all those who trace their descent from Lord Baltimore and from those who came on the Ark and the Dove in 1634 to settle the proprietary province of Maryland.

Maryland Genealogical Society The research fee, payable in advance, is $20.00 per hour for members of the Maryland Genealogical Society, $30.00 per hour for non-members, and does not include the cost of any copies of documents which you may request. The Society cannot guarantee that a search will be successful, and the research fee is not refundable.
